Stories beyond diagnosis
SbD Creative were commissioned to produce 26 short films highlighting the experiences of patients living with different rare cancers. Working with people internationally, the project focused on capturing authentic patient voices and sharing the realities of diagnosis, treatment and living with a rare cancer.
The resulting films created a diverse library of patient-led resources that can be used within medical education to improve understanding of the lived experience. By bringing real stories into learning environments, the project helps healthcare professionals connect clinical knowledge with the human impact of rare cancer.
